Following the announcement of her demise on Tuesday, a variety of tributes poured in honoring Loretta Lynn. The singer-songwriter re-emerged as a power within the early 2000s on the power of Van Lear Rose, her album that was produced by Jack White. That album, which was her forty second studio album, was extensively praised and peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard High Nation Albums chart, and No. 24 on the Billboard 200. The album received Grammys for Greatest Nation Album and “Portland Oregon” received for Greatest Nation Collaboration with Vocals in 2005.
Hours after her demise, White paid tribute to his good friend in a video posted on his Instagram account.
“I stated after I was first requested about her what I believed and I stated years in the past that I believed she was the best feminine singer-songwriter of the twentieth century. I nonetheless imagine that,” White stated.
